Hey, everybody!
If you don't know what Wormax.io is, go to Google right now and search wormax.io. RIGHT NOW.
In this game, you are a worm (duh, I guess) and you go around "killing" other people by making them run into your sides and eating their guts to grow and get up onto the Leaderboards. Make sure that you don't hit any of them though, or you will die! Play at least 3 rounds of it. If Wormax isn't your thing, try Googling "all .io games list". There are about 50 and counting different computer games with the web address ending in ".io". And I have about 50 different tips to playing Wormax (and only Wormax, that's the one I'm best at. Trust me, I hold a house record for it.) and getting on the Leaderboards reeaaaaally quickly. I have a couple different categories for these tips, but all of them should be useful!
Beating Others
Beginner Techniques
1) The Famed Encircle
The encircle (classically known as "entrapping") is where you find someone (you should make sure that they're either smaller than you or somewhat curled up a little) and make yourself into a circle shape around them. Then you progressively tighten yourself around them until they have no choice but to run into your side.
Make sure that you don't accidentally run into one of their sides, or your work will all go to waste!
2) No Real Name Yet
This one is very similar to the Famed Encircle (see above), except you go into an oval shape instead. You tighten yourself around them in the shape of an oval until they are unable to turn. This one works the best when they are stretched to their full length, but doesn't work very well on people bigger than you are. I made this one up myself, so I don't really have a picture of it yet. Any ideas for a name are welcome!
3) Haha, Caught U
So let's say someone is going straight up and you are going straight to the left. You are above them in a way that allows you to go straight in front of their head without dying. You do that, and you completed Haha, Caught U trick! I can't get a picture of it, and it's kind of hard to explain, so you might have to figure it out a little.
Intermediate Techniques
1) Tail-whacking
This is where you act like you are going to run headfirst into someone else's head and then turn at the last second so that your tail hits them in the face and they die. As simple as it may sound, I put it in the Intermediate Techniques because it's harder than it sounds. Often you might turn too late and end up running into them and dying yourself. This was also kind of made up by me, so no picture here either.
2) Straight Ahead
This one's where someone is just going straight and you can jump in front of them and turn so their head runs into your body before they can turn away. The only way to avoid being killed by this trick is with the "power-ups", which are the green circles on your screen that have a letter on them. I'll get into that later.
Advanced Techniques
1) Spiral/Cinnamon Roll (Haven't decided yet)
This trick is somewhat hard to describe. You know those annoying people who just turn their head to the side when you try to do the Haha, Caught U trick (see Beginner Techniques)? On this trick, you begin with Haha, Caught U and keep following their head into their circle until they eventually cannot turn anymore and have no choice but to run into your head.
That's the end of today's post (which I actually wrote over the course of 3 days, hahaha) and another will soon follow!
Thanks for reading, and hope you like it!
